Water for
the development
Water is fundamental for life and sustainable community development of communities. From the Club of Rome, we work to improve the quality of life of rural or peripheral communities without access to water and basic sanitation, articulating projects together with public and private actors that have the beneficiary community itself as the protagonist.
Since 2008, we have carried out works to access safe water in 14 communities and rural schools, located in the provinces of Chaco, Salta, Santiago del Estero and Misiones, where mills have been installed to pump surface water with laying of pipes, cisterns for rainwater capture with improvement of catchment areas, elevation of storage tanks, water filtration system and plunger pumps. The works were accompanied by training for community members to provide tools for operation, maintenance and reproduction of the technologies used.

The works were accompanied by community training workshops, with the aim of providing tools for the operation, maintenance and reproduction of the technologies used.
